During my start of my photography journey last year I came across a 52 Week Photo Project. I didn’t partake because I am Type A and couldn’t fathom starting something when it was more than 1/2 way over. So I followed along and used it as inspiration and motivation to do a project this year. We’re in Week 9 and I’m going strong! So far, I’ve had two photos featured in the weekly “Eye Candy” and I feel totally honored because these people are no joke! There is major talent going on. All that aside, I just love the group. A little under 1,000 members and every single comment is positive. Everyone is there for inspiration, support, creativity, motivation, and fun. I have already made a few good friends in the group and I just feel so lucky to have found them.

Here are a few photos that I have included in my group. I won’t be sharing all as some are just for me and them. 🙂  I will continue to add as the weeks pass by.

Life in 52 ~ 2016

{3/52 – Life is like a song}
This is my Marley. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I just knew I was having a girl. I have always been a huge Bob Marley fan and the name just kept coming back to me. Nothing else seemed to fit. Even before we decided 100% on her name, I had ordered a print for her nursery with these lyrics. Once she came I knew she was Marley. She is just the best. The funniest, most content and nice little girl.

{4/52 ~ talk of the town}
Not much going on in our little town this week. Weather is normal, cold but nothing like Jonas! No big events other than a month packed full of birthdays. This week was my birthday as well as my best friend’s daughter. We’re a day apart. So, my daughter likes to have a birthday party at least once a day. 🎂

In my town, we have a local art park. It is so unique. I love going up there for walks with my daughter and our dog. It’s always an adventure.

{8/52 ~ found/treasure}
To have {found} a lifelong friendship early in childhood, is a {treasure} all in its own. We hope the same for our girls. We call them frick and frack. They are the opposite in almost every way, just like us. But they fight like sisters, just like us. Bound by our past and our journey together, nothing could break us apart. We can only hope they form a similar bond.
